Small Worlds

I took a trip out to Swallow Falls and New Germany State Parks anticipating some great photo ops. The weather this week has finally turned cold and it has been snowing on and off in Western Maryland all week. Here is my first shot from the trip. I found a small pool of water on a large boulder on the banks of the Youghiogheny River. Although I was intending on getting shots of the falls, I decided to turn my attention to recording all of the great ice formations along the rivers edge. I always try to make an effort to look at the ground as I am out shooting. Some of the best shots you will find are often right below your feet.

I will post some more images from the trip over the next few days. Enjoy! Joe

Jim and Chris, thanks so much for having a look and leaving a comment.

Chris, your recent work over the last snow storm looks great, man. Maybe we can get together this weekend and do some shooting in Great Falls.

Jim, I was just over at your website. You have some really beautiful work.
